Drainage Engineer (FDOT Experience Preferred)

Kisinger Campo & Associates, Corp. (KCA) currently has an opening in our Ft. Myers, FL office for a Drainage Engineer. This full-time position typically receives direction and work assignments from a Senior Drainage Design Engineer or Project Manager. The position requires a solid understanding of transportation design projects, a strong foundation of hydrologic and hydraulics engineering principles, and solid communication skills. Responsibilities include lead drainage design including storm drain, pond, and floodplain design for transportation projects. FDOT design experience including with FDOT Drainage Manual and FDOT Plans Preparation Manual is preferred, but not mandatory. Work at this level requires the candidate to be a proactive, self-starter that is willing to work with a team of engineers on projects throughout Florida.

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required
• EI Certification is a strong preference
• Knowledge of MicroStation/Geopak is preferred
• Knowledge of Hydraulic modeling software (ICPR, ASAD, and HEC-RAS) is preferred
