- Roadway Design Engineer

The primary responsibility of the Roadway Engineer I is to serve under the direction of a Project Manager/Senior Engineer on the engineering development of highway/roadway projects. Typical projects involve the design of urban and rural highways, interchange and intersection design, transportation planning, preparation of roadway geometrics, and production of construction plans. More specific duties involve highway geometric design, developing technical reports, performing roadway design calculations, determining quantities, and coordinating between design disciplines.
Presence at the designated office or job site is necessary to fulfill the requirements of this position.

- Bachelors or masters degree in civil engineering
- EI license is preferred but not required
