Senior Roadway Engineer (Dallas, El Paso, Houston, TX)
Kisinger Campo & Associates (KCA) has an opening in our Dallas, El Paso, or Houston, TX offices for a Senior Roadway Engineer in the Roadway Department. This full-time position requires a strong foundation in highway design principles and concepts, TxDOT design standards, TxDOT plans preparation procedures, and solid communication skills. The position also requires MicroStation/Geopak plans production skills. The candidate will design and produce plans for transportation-related projects such as highway widening and reconstruction, from preliminary to final design including specifications, cost estimates, and final bid packages. Project management responsibilities will also be available for the candidate as additional work is pursued.
This position will be the primary technical point of contact for more complex design tasks and projects that require a higher level of understanding and project knowledge. Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of specific objectives. Work at this level requires the candidate to be a self-starter who needs minimal to no supervision and has extensive technical experience and the ability to work alone on tasks as well as in a team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience
- Registered Texas PE
- Bachelor’s Degree
