Florida’s delicate environment demands the services of a highly-experienced environmental services department that can accurately assess and minimize project impacts and costs. Typical services include environmental assessment and analysis, ecological restoration and mitigation design, permitting and implementation, as well as protected species evaluation, assessment, and mitigation planning. Our in-house Authorized Gopher Tortoise Agents have performed numerous studies and relocations. Our environmental services also include habitat mapping and analysis, seagrass and submerged vegetation surveys, and fisheries investigations (including Essential Fish Habitat assessment). KCA utilizes the most up-to-date remote sensing geographical information systems (GIS) and data acquisition global positioning system (GPS) tools available. These in-house environmental services provide seamless integration with other disciplines—optimizing our clients’ schedule and budget.
