KCA Ft. Myers CEI Group Nets Three Recent Wins
KCA Ft. Myers CEI Group had a great close to 2021 winning three projects in the last months of the year. KCA received contracts to perform CEI services for the Immokalee Area Improvements TIGER IX Grant project for Collier County; Safety Improvements on CR 833/CR 846 LAP project for Hendry County; and South County Park-And-Ride Transfer Station project for Lee County. All three projects will be managed out of KCA’s Fort Myers office and will be led by Senior Project Engineer (SPE)/Project Manager (PM), Paul Wingard, PE, CGC.
The Immokalee Area Improvements project for Collier County involves construction of transportation improvements in the Immokalee community including 20 miles of new sidewalk, a bike boulevard network, a shared-use path, street lighting and pedestrian signals, bus shelters and benches, new transit center, landscaping, drainage, intersection improvements, and calming retreats. Teaming partners include Ardaman & Associates, Inc., and AIM Engineering and Surveying, Inc.
The CR 833/CR 846 LAP project for Hendry County includes construction of safety improvements including guardrail installations and replacements, roadway repaving, headwall expansions, and pipe culvert installations on existing County roads for enhanced driver safety. Teaming partners include Ardaman; E.F. Gaines Surveying Services, Inc.; and Kallie Consulting, LLC.
The South County Park-And-Ride Transfer Station project involves the construction of a seven-bay bus transfer terminal for the LeeTran public bus system, parking, associated facilities including a concrete bus pad terminal, storm drainage and associated structures, utilities, ADA-compliant ramps, landscaping, electrical systems, and benches and seating. Teaming partners include Ardaman, AIM, Kallie, and Billereinhart Engineering Group, Inc.
