KCA selected for Citrus Park/East Bonita Stormwater Improvements for City of Bonita Springs
KCA was selected to provide providing the City of Bonita Springs with an H&H Study for the Citrus Park/East Bonita Stormwater Improvement project, which received funding from the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP). The win marked KCA’s second project win for the City.
The project will improve the intercommunity drainage conveyance of the Citrus Park and Morton Grove communities in Bonita Springs. The scope includes significant updates to the ICPR 4 watershed model. The project also includes design of control structures, pumps, reservoirs, drainage conveyance infrastructure, and permitting through SFWMD. KCA is also assisting City staff in meeting FEMA HMGP funding requirements and training on the federal funding process.
The KCA team comprises of Archaeological Consultants, Inc.; AIM Engineering & Surveying, Inc.; Cella Molnar & Associates, Inc.; and Tierra, Inc.
Leading KCA’s proposed team is Project Manager (PM), Brian Rose, PE, and Senior Technical Advisor, Tara Spieler, PE. The contract will be managed from KCA’s Fort Myers office.
