KCA selected for Pinellas County Bridges and Structures GEC Contract
KCA received excellent news this fall that it was selected for the Bridges and Other Structures Professional Engineering Services contract for Pinellas County. The contract is the first structures and bridges-specific on-call contract ever awarded by the County and adds yet another on-call General Engineering Consultant (GEC) contract for KCA’s Structures Department.
KCA will be providing on-call professional engineering bridge and structures design services to Pinellas County under this contract. KCA has served the County for the last 35 years having completed numerous structures design projects including the Park Boulevard Bascule Bridge in 1999 and the more recent Ream Wilson Pedestrian Bridge project.
The KCA team is led by Project Manager (PM), David Thompson, PE, and Deputy PM, John Burton, PE, PMP, PTOE. KCA’s Structures Department has completed hundreds of bridge and structures reconstruction and rehabilitation design projects since 1976.
