KCA Selected for Village of Estero Williams Road Widening Preliminary Design and Engineering
KCA recently received good news after being selected for the Williams Road Preliminary Design Engineering contract for the Village of Estero.
KCA will be tasked with identifying future widening needs along Williams Rd. between US 41 and Via Coconut Point in the Village of Estero. KCA is uniquely qualified for this project based on our familiarity with the corridor and our experience with similar types of projects. This project will address safety and traffic concerns while delivering a multi-modal facility considering all users within a constrained right-of-way (R/W). KCA is currently designing an adjacent segment of Williams Road west of US 41 which included the design of a new roundabout. The current project considered the future widening of Williams Rd. east of US 41 which will provide a seamless transition with the proposed improvements to the east of the intersection.
The KCA team comprises of Banks Engineering; David M. Jones Jr. and Associates, Inc.; T2 UES, Inc.; and Tierra South Florida, Inc.
Leading KCA’s proposed team is Project Manager (PM) and Roadway Engineer-of-Record (EOR), Jesse Gill, PE. He will be supported by key team members Adrienne Wisdom, PE; Brian Rose, PE; Catie Neal; Dr. Fathy Abdalla, PE, PTOE; and Nicole Selly, ENV SP. The contract will be managed from KCA’s Fort Myers office.
Congratulations to the pursuit team including Jesse Gill, PE. A big thanks to all that helped with the preparation of the letter of response and presentation and the marketing efforts that contributed to this win!
