For this 8-mile section of a new four-lane roadway, KCA provided verification of land use, surveyed for protected species and their habitat, and coordinated with agencies. Tasks also included wetland delineation for mainline alignment, pond sites, and floodplain compensation sites, general wildlife surveys, species specific surveys for crested caracara, bald eagles, sand and blue-tail mole skinks, gopher tortoise, and Florida scrub-jay, performed UMAM analysis for wetland impacts, provided complete environmental support documentation for permitting phase, mitigation analysis, wood stork foraging analysis, and coordination with FWC, USFWS, SWFWMD, and USACE
