KCA developed Biological Assessments (BAs) to address impacts to the federally-listed, crested caracara and wood stork associated with the planned widening of a six-mile segment of US 17. Additional tasks included the development of conservation measures to offset habitat impacts and coordination with the US Fish and Wildlife Service in the development of their Biological Opinions and the US Army Corps of Engineers in development of their 404 dredge and fill permit.
