SWFWMD General Engineering and Professional Services Contract Win!

KCA was selected by SWFWMD for the General Engineering and Professional Services contract!!
KCA was recently reselected under a general engineering consultant (GEC)-type contract with SWFWMD to provide districtwide professional services for Chapters C: Design, Permitting, and Construction Inspection of Natural Systems and Water Conveyance Systems and D: Environmental Monitoring and Assessments of Natural Systems. This 5-year contract will offer consulting services to SWFWMD’s 16-county service area.
Task assignments under Chapter C will involve restoration and stormwater best management projects for natural and water conveyance systems such as water control structure planning and design, surface water management system design, habitat restoration, and stormwater retrofit projects. Task assignments under Chapter D will involve assessment and monitoring of natural systems such as wetland vegetation analysis, biological monitoring, and assessment of ecosystem responses. KCA will also provide environmental permitting, economic studies, expert witness and independent peer review, project management, and QA/QC.
