I-95 (SR 9) from SR 207 to International Golf Parkway (Resurfacing with Diverging Diamond Interchange at SR 16), FDOT District Two, St. Johns County, FL
The TranSystems Team (with KCA as a major subconsultant) was selected by FDOT District Two for the I-95 (SR 9) from SR 207 to International Golf Parkway project in St. Johns County. This project involves converting the existing diamond interchange at I-95 and SR 16 to a Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI), and 12 miles of resurfacing, restoration, and rehabilitation (RRR) improvements to I-95 and the SR 207 Interchange. KCA will be responsible for overall drainage design for the project as well as design services for the I-95 RRR portion of the project (roadway, drainage, and traffic analysis/engineering).
Congrats to the entire team including Victor Gallo, PE; Kevin Tasillo, PE, PTOE; Fathy Abdalla, Ph.D., PE, PTOE; Robert Whitman; Steven Johnston, PE; Mark Bintz; Elisa Guggino; and others from KCA departments. A big thanks to all that helped with the preparation of this proposal and the marketing efforts that contributed to this win!
