KCA was selected for the NCDOT 2017 Structures Management Support Limited Services Contract (LSC)!
This is a two to three-year, on-call contract with a $1.5 million limit. KCA performed numerous bridge inspection, new bridge design, bridge repair, and traffic control design tasks under the current contract. This contract added two service areas under this advertisement: bridge replacement planning and design (full service covering planning documents through final design), and field testing and construction services. KCA applied for and was selected for both of these new tasks, offering the opportunity for KCA to grow its full slate of services in the Carolinas.
Congrats to the entire team including our bridge inspection and design staff (whose work in the past was crucial to our re-selection and selection for new work items), specifically Sam Cullum, PE, Project Manager; Jack Leonard, PE; Debbie Barbour, PE; and John Mazeres, PE. A big thanks to all that helped with the preparation of this proposal and the marketing efforts that contributed to this win!
