Charlotte County ATMS/ITS Master Plan

KCA completed the development of an Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS)/Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Master Plan for Charlotte County including the Charlotte County Traffic Management Center (TMC), all signalized intersections (existing and proposed), all systems and networks tied to and relating to the signal systems, all ITS device locations (existing and proposed), and the associated communication routes (existing and proposed) within Charlotte County. Services also include ATMS/ITS study, planning, design, integration, management, review, and evaluation of the Traffic Incident Management (TIM) plans. This project included an evacuation plan to operate the County’s transportation network during Hurricane evacuation. The ATMS/ITS Master Plan was created to be consistent with the current technology regarding Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) programs.
