Consultant Structures Inspection Program (North System)

KCA provides bridge and ancillary inspection for approximately 895 bridges, 1,165 overhead signs and 340 high mast light poles over two biennial inspection cycles. Our services include routine, interim, initial, post rehabilitation, post repair, underwater and emergency inspections and load rating analysis. In support of the inspections KCA provides documentation of field work and development of in-depth bridge inspection reports. KCA provides comprehensive repair recommendations and serves as part of the “Feasible Action Repair Committee” which meets regularly to determine prioritize repair recommendations. Structure types included, but are not limited to, simple span and complex structures, with structure types including continuous span concrete and steel bridges, steel curved girders, steel box girders, concrete box girders and concrete box culverts.
