Continuing Engineering Services

KCA was selected to perform professional engineering services for the new traffic signalization and roadway improvements at the intersection of Park Boulevard and 60th Street in Pinellas Park, FL. This project aims to improve both safety and pedestrian circulation within the vicinity of the Park Boulevard and 60th Street intersection, minimize impacts to utility lines, and include a dual-arm, traffic mast arm to reduce construction duration and cost. The design includes dual-arm, mast arms in the SE and NW corners, removal of the existing traffic separator, minor resurfacing in the median to establish a normal crown, and sidewalk reconstruction to provide two-way, ADA ramps in each corner of the intersection. A lesson learned from previous contracts was scheduling survey prior to NTP to avoid any delays in starting work upon contract execution. KCA will perform traffic engineering design, traffic modeling, signalization, signing and pavement markings (S&PM), roadway design, drainage design, structures/mast arm design, CEI, post-design services, and utility coordination.
