KCA provided Lead Technicians and multiple support staff under Statewide On-Call contracts for this $107.9 million design-build (D/B) project that widened I-85 from four to eight lanes with concrete pavement. The NC 152/I-85 interchange has a new bridge over I-85 and two new ramps constructed on the north side, NC 152 widened, and three roundabouts were constructed. NC 152 has new bridges over US 29 and the North Carolina Railroad. Daugherty, Lentz and Pine Ridge Roads have new bridges over I-85. A new interchange was constructed at Old Beatty Ford Road, which included a new bridge over I-85 and a ramp bridge.
