SR 534/SR 417 Ramp Realignment-Seg1A, CFX, Orlando, FL

KCA was selected to provide improvements to SR 417 from Landstar Blvd. to Boggy Creek Road. The project realigns the southbound (SB) SR 417 entrance ramp from Boggy Creek Rd to accommodate the future SR 417/SR 534 interchange that will be constructed east of Boggy Creek Rd. As part of this ramp realignment, a new two-lane bridge over Boggy Creek will be provided, and this new ramp is being combined with the existing SB entrance ramp from South Access Rd. before entering SB SR 417.  A fourth SB general-use lane will be provided between this newly combined ramp and Landstar Blvd., this will require widening the SB bridge over Rhode Island Woods Circle. This project will also replace the aging Boggy Creek mainline toll plaza with a new all-electronic tolling (AET) gantry.
