KCA will be resurfacing this roadway using rigid pavement to extend its service life and improve safety, resulting in 19.6 new concrete lane-miles. This high-speed, four-lane divided, rural principal, arterial highway is on the National Highway System (NHS), Strategic Intermodal System (SIS), and State Highway System (SHS) with heavy truck traffic. KCA will provide the development of a rigid pavement design based on FDOT’s Rigid Pavement Design Manual. KCA has completed the pavement design analysis and will provide comprehensive support, including drainage design, traffic analysis, safety enhancements, temporary traffic control plans (TTCP), and public engagement.
